Image
The bottom right picture is how the dough should end up looking! Hey everyone! With school being out means I get more time to bake and I wanted to share with you these easy cookies! These cookies are super yummy with their chocolate and peanut butter taste, but without the flour, which means these are gluten free (and a bit healthier than normal cookies). Ingredients: 1 cup of peanut butter (Crunchy) 1 cup of brown sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon of baking soda 6 ounces of chocolate chips 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly beat the egg in a cup or small bowl. Put the peanut butter, brown sugar, egg (lightly beaten), vanilla extract, and baking soda in a mixer. Mix until all of the ingredients are smooth and blended together. Stir in the chocolate chips, until evenly distributed. Form little two inch cookie dough balls and place them on a baking sheet. (Make sure they are very packed or else they won't hol...

Ideas for School Lunch

Image
Hi guys i'm back! Today's post is going to be about what to pack with you for school lunch.  I just started packing my lunch again after a few years and I am so glad I did! After lunch I feel a lot more energized and healthier than when I ate the school lunch. School lunch is typically gross and for my school it is super gross, so I wasn't eating anything, well not as much as I should be eating. I decided to start packing for another reason too. Every time I don't eat enough I get really dizzy and feel gross, I soon found out that this is called hypoglycemia. I'm not exactly sure if it is common or not, but it kind of helps knowing what was causing all this sickness. Before I ramble on like I normally do here are some main meal and snack ideas for school: Main Meals Peanut and Butter Honey Sandwich Pasta Salad Normal Salad Yogurt (Thanks to  diyintheforest.blogspot.com  ) You could also add something to the yogurt to give it a yummy twist, plus go check out ...

Hi everyone ! *waves extremely fast* Today I am going to be sharing with you my most recent book favorites. Now if you know me than you know that I am a huge bookworm, but that doesn't mean I don't like being on my phone, it just means that books are a little more exciting than that one girl's outfit.  Please let me know of any neat books in the comments! I am always looking for new books to read and I go through them so quickly! Now before I ramble anymore here are my favorite books as of April 4th: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg Girl Online On Tour by Zoe Sugg They All Fall Down by Roxanne St. Claire StarStruck by Lauren Conrad To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han Okay that's the most I could think of for the past few months, only here recently have I started to pick up reading books again.  One app I have used a lot though is Wattpad, it is a social network where you can publish your own books and read others too! It is all free which is a huge bonus!...

Things to Try During the Spring/Summer

Image
Hey guys i'm finally back! Today i'm sharing with you some of things I will be attempting to try this spring and summer, all of these things you could try as well.  Every year I feel that the seasons go by so quickly and i'm never able to do any of the these I would like to do, so I thought why not make a list and see how many these I can accomplish. Without further adieu here are Things to Try During the Spring/Summer: Get a writing prompt book and actually write in it.  You can get these from any book store I got mine from Half-Priced Books for around eight dollars. Go For a Hike. I absolutely love to hike and I feel as though I don't get to do it as much as I would like to, so this year I want to do it a lot more. Take More Pictures. Every time I go somewhere I always forget to take pictures and always regret it, so I definitely want to take as many as possible! Organize Your Closet. Get rid of all those clothes you don't like anymore and make room for the ...

Social Media & How it Affects Me

Image
I remember in the sixth grade I made my first social media account and it was Instagram. My posts were so silly and weird haha.  Looking back at that time it was so much simpler because I didn't care what anyone thought of what I posted, but today I analyze every picture I take or every tweet I make, just so that nobody thinks its weird or awkward.  I wanted to write about this because, quite frankly social media has taken over our lives. I just hope if you read this that you may think about the affects it has on you.  I honestly think that we have social media to get attention and what we really drive for is for someone to comment on our selfie saying that "You look so cute, *Heart Eyes Emojii*, but when social media first came out it was a way to connect to each other and talk to people you wouldn't normally see everyday.  Here lately I have really been missing my childhood when I really didn't care how many likes I got on instagram.  We have let our likes def...

He was making me angry and I thought well i'm just going to eat his candy because why not.  I ended up breaking up with him the next day, this is why i'm still single , haha just kidding.  This post is just a reminder that you don't need to be in a relationship with someone to enjoy this very loving holiday, so without further adiu here are my reasons to love Valentine's Day: All of the Candy ! Things to Do When You Are Bored

My entire life I have said I was bored at least 10 billion times.  In all reality you should never be bored especially growing up in a world where you can access a lot of things you wouldn't have been able to, let's say 15 years ago.  When I was younger if I was bored I went outside and kicked a soccer ball or jumped on the trampoline, but in today's generation I don't know if anyone really does that anymore, which is kind of sad to me. So before I go on a rant, here are 10 things to do when you are bored: Go Outside , like go on a hike or even just sit outside and drink some coffee, you would be surprised how relaxing being outside is ! Reorganize Something , I don't know about you, but I love to reorganize things (but not clean!), whether it be your closet or even just your desk ! Create New Outfits , sit down in front of your closet and just start thinking about what you think will go together and you could even look for inspiration on Pinterest or Instagr...

"Time Flies" 10 Tips to End Your Time Management Problems

Image
Time management is something that you learn from experience.  I'm still pretty young and haven't quite mastered the skill yet, actually I am procrastinating on some of my homework as I type this.  What I wanted to share with you today are some of my tips on staying on track and getting work done !  Being a teenager means a lot of stress and gaining new responsibilities, some people deal with this better than others. I am not the best person when it comes to being stressed, but I am able to somehow keep control on my responsibilities.  Now for the tips that this whole article is about ! (This is something that I do and it may not work for everyone, but I hope it helps a little !)   : PUT YOUR PHONE far away as possible, most of the time you only have one distraction, and that is your phone.  What I like to do is place my phone somewhere in my house or on the opposite side of my room while i'm doing my homework. Get yourself everything that you need to...
