2018 in a Nutshell

Hey guys! Long time no see and I apologize for that! I thought that I would kind of use this site to put my memories together and figured that putting all of my notable pictures from 2018 would be a good way to start! So without further adieu here is my 2018 in a nutshell! So I started 2018 by doing my face reveal for my Instagram and blog!  I then did my first shoot where I purposely bought an outfit and décor which was completely what I was not used to doing! My last Winter Formal of High School was also this year and can we just take a moment for my shoes? This picture doesn't fit the time frame considering it was taken in July, but it is more a filler picture for March. In March I was diagnosed with Post Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and it completely changed my life. My first and last prom happened in 2018 and this dress will always be the favorite thing I own. How to Be You

My entire life I have always wanted to be different and never follow the crowd. This could be something as big as what college to go to, or something as little as style. Being yourself can be so scary, but it is worth it in the long run, since you will be so much happier with every single decision you make. Examples of how I may differ from the "in crowd", are what college I am going to, since it is an automotive school in a smaller town (I am not majoring in anything automotive), my style, which is a bit more preppy (turtlenecks, tailored pants, blazers, etc...), and even the sport I play, which is golf! These things are not exactly what everyone else does, but they are what makes me happy! It really is the simple things in life that can make your world a little more positive, so no more rambling and here are my tips for how to be you! Hey guys in this week's blog post I am sharing with you my everyday makeup products! These are what I use/ my all time favorites!! This foundation is definitely one of my favorites from the drug store, it is the Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation! It is inexpensive and under $10, you can buy it  here . Mine is in the shade "Rose Ivory". This is my all time favorite concealer, it is super great for under the eyes and just melts into the skin! It is the Tarte Amazonian Clay waterproof concealer, and I wear the shade "Light Sand". You can buy it  here . 2017 was the year I discovered the iconic Hoola bronzer from benefit! It gives you the perfect warmness during the cold winter months! You can buy it  here . Milani has quickly become one of my favorite drugstore brands! Too Faced's "Best Year Ever" Overview

This year for Christmas I received the Too Faced "Best Year Ever" set, and I wanted to share my little overview with you all! This includes pictures of the individual palettes along with swatches (keep in mind that swatches can be different than how they look on the eye), and some of my first impressions! The palette is currently on sale for $24.50 USD (originally $49.00 USD).  Christmas 2017 Best Year Ever   This is what the kit contains, 3 eyeshadow palettes, a mini Better Than Sex mascara, and a makeup bag. I mean first of all who could resist that adorable packaging! The three palettes shown above all bring individual styles to the table, and each have their own theme. All have six shadows and one face product, plus they are cruelty free, paraben free, and gluten free.
